Pro Act
We're all about having theatrical fun!
The Pro Act Drama Academy offers extra mural speech and acting classes in the Western Cape. Does your child have a knack and a passion for acting? Or is your child shy and does he or she need a bit of a nudge to become more self-confident? The Pro Act drama academy will help children of all personalities to blossom into self-confident, well-spoken young people.
Our Curriculum
The Pro Act drama curriculum focuses on providing confident children with a platform to express themselves, while quiet or reserved children are encouraged to express themselves with confidence and to speak with fluency and clarity.

Students are encouraged to experiment with a combination of voice and creative movement in a free, expressive and fun-filled acting environment, thereby building their self confidence and esteem. Pro Act motivates and inspires all children to develop at their own pace and to reach their full potential.
Meet the Teacher
Monika
Monika discovered her passion for acting at a young age and she performed in many school plays, often playing the lead role. She undertook Trinity College drama exams and extra mural drama classes throughout her school career.
Monika studied at CADA (The Cape Academy for Dramatic Art) where she received her LTCL (Licentiate Trinity College London) and began teaching speech and drama as soon as she qualified in 2004. She was also part of the Theatresports (a Cape Town based improvisation company) cast for nine years, with whom she performed weekly in front of a live audience.
She was a part time puppeteer for “Puppet World” for a year and her wealth of performance experience, make her classes interactive and fun.
